Ron Paul is, as Mark Twain suggested, brave, hated and scorned. The mainstream media tries to ignore him. When they don’t ignore him, they portray him as fringe (or worse) candidate. After today’s Tea Party it will be more difficult to marginalize Ron Paul. His average supporter has only donated about $50. This illustrates Paul’s broad base and grass roots support. Paul isn’t finance by the wealthy but by Joe Six Pack. Everyday Americans that are sick of the status quo that the rest of the candidates represent and promote.

Paul’s ability to raise this kind of support and money will most likely put him into the media spotlight and as usual, the media will try again to twist this good news into a smear. You can count on it. If this happens again, be a patriot and join the Ron Paul campaign and help take back our government.

Karyn McConnell Hancock, attorney, a former Toledo councilman, daughter of a judge, and wife of “Bishop” Hancock, was reported missing Wednesday and turned up Saturday morning outside an amusement park in Cobb County, Georgia.

A nationwide search began shortly after her “disappearance”. As you would expect, the community was concerned for her well being. Even Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner was worried, “Karyn was the apple of mom and dad’s eyes,” Mayor Finkbeiner said.

After being questioned, she admitted that she lied, it was a hoax. She said two white men and a black woman kidnapped her, Cobb County police said.

I’m surprised that Karyn McConnell Hancock, who has admitted to lying about her abduction, didn’t claim that Maggie Thurber, Kenneth Blackwell and George Bush were her kidnappers. It’s a good thing she included an imaginary black kidnapper in her falsified statement to the police, otherwise you might think she was just another race baiting, fake abduction, liar like Tawana Brawley.

Of course Tawana Brawley comes to mind since we have the obligatory cast of characters; a black woman, a black preacher, a black politician, white abductors, the national media, and of course, a big lie.

Ms. McConnell Hancock owes the Internal Revenue Service $97,524 for unpaid income taxes for the years 2001, 2002, and 2003, according to the Lucas County recorder. Perhaps if she and “Bishop” Hancock drove something a bit more modest than a Mercedes-Benz she could afford to pay her taxes? What’s a member of the clergy doing driving a Mercedes-Benz anyway? What ever happened to vows of poverty that the clergy used to take? “Bishop” Hancock is founder of Final Harvest Church in Toledo, Ohio. Sorry for the tangent…

Karyn McConnell Hancock may now face criminal charges. Hopefully the Ohio State BAR Association will add this top the list of complaints against her. It seems that she also has problems with at least one of here clients. A lawsuit was filed against her by Maurice Morris, of Toledo, who said Hancock negotiated a settlement from an auto accident but never gave him the $10,000 settlement.

Hopefully she will do some jail time for this, loose her license to practice law, and get a job so she can pay the IRS.

UPDATE:
The Toledo Blade reports that a complaint has been filed against Karyn McConnell Hancock accusing her of having forged a former client’s signature on checks totaling $128,642.70.

If she did in fact embezzle the money, was she planning to pay the IRS with it?

Why vote for the same old crap we’ve been spoon fed for the last 50 years or so? Ron Paul isn’t a political whore, he’s a statesman in the mold of Jefferson and Franklin. Check out the video!
