Student steals phone. Student then broadcasts a private topless picture to other students. Teacher is held responsible?

Again Oklahoma is embarrassing the nation. Even while Jerry Falwell’s corpse has barely assumed room temperature, Oklahoma sends a shrill tone of hypocrisy to the rest of the world. It seems that confused parents are demanding the resignation of teacher Angela Flick despite the fact that she was the victim in this crime.

Teacher Angela Flick’s cell phone was stolen by a student in the El Reno school district. The student then discovered a topless photo of Angela Flick and then Bluetoothed it to the rest of the school. So the teacher is somehow the perpetrator of a crime? It seems that the student who stole the phone is the guilty party.

In a KOKH report, “concerned parent”, Ray Coat calls for Angela Flick’s dismissal.
For some reason, at least one would assume from the report, Mr. Coat thinks that stealing cell phones is OK. Right…this despite the local police stating that the phone was stolen from Ms. Flick’s possession and the photo then broadcast.

Maybe Oklahoma needs to educate their puritanical redneck brethren that stealing is wrong. That’s why it’s a crime. Breasts aren’t a crime; stealing is.
