Fox News reports that the City of Snyder has paid former Snyder Chief of Police, Tod Ozmun, $20,000 as a means to compensate him for resigning.

While this was not received well by the porn obsessed residents of Snyder, OK., Kiowa County District Attorney John Wampler stated that he still plans to investigate Doris Ozmun’s nude photos. He claims his investigation will probe the questioned decency of Doris Ozmun, her website, and any questions regarding Oklahoma’s laws regarding nude, 300 pound, bisexual women. The investigation will no doubt take up much of the District Attorneys time.

We question why DA John Wampler isn’t investigating who illegally place nude photos of Doris Ozmun into Snyder, Oklahoma resident’s mail boxes? It is illegal for anyone to tamper with the US mail. Does Wampler intend to investigate this matter? If not, then it seems that Wampler is selectively choosing his investigations. This would be a huge ethics violation on his part. So before Kiowa County District Attorney John Wampler probes Doris Ozmun, would he please consider investigating the true crime that has occurred in Snyder?

It seems that many of the townsfolk of Snyder, Oklahoma have nothing better to do than surf the net looking for porn and then complain when they find pictures of one of their neighbors who happens to be the police chief’s wife.

Why are they complaining? They were the ones looking for porn. Maybe they’re upset that they didn’t find “free wet sex lesbian midgets engaged in BDSM rituals with hot MILF’s“? Or were they offended at Police Chief Tod Ozmun’s wife not being “hot” enough for them. Maybe Doris Ozmun isn’t thin enough, or sexy enough, or perhaps, hypocritical enough for the small minded residents of Snyder?

Doris Ozmun was doing nothing illegal. It’s her prerogative to display herself online if she wants. Just because she is employed as an adult model should be none of the Snyder residents concern. They should be more concerned about whoever downloaded the nude photos and then decided to start a witch hunt against her and Chief Ozmun.

Cristen Edgar, a 16-year-old high school student, was quoted: “I don’t think it’s right for him to be the chief of police and for his wife to be doing what she’s doing.” Well Cristen, maybe you need to spend a few more years growing up and not surfing porn. How else would you know what Doris Ozmun is doing or do you have the moral superiority to judge people based on hearsay? Did you see her pictures? Did you actually examine Chief Ozmun’s job performance? Does what your mommy does for a living automatically disqualify your daddy from performing his job? What gives you the right to condemn Doris or Tod Ozmun ?

The small minded people of Snyder should be ashamed of themselves for trying to destroy the Ozmuns. At least Ozmun Mayor Dale Moore and Councilman Clifford Barnard had the balls to defend the Chief and his wife by stepping down from office in protest.

Doris Ozmun released this statement in her defense:

“Hi, my name is Doris Ozmun. I am a 43-year-old adult model. I am in no way affiliated with the Snyder Police Department other than the fact I am married to the chief of police, Tod Ozmun. The Web site I am featured on is in no way affiliated with the Snyder Police Department nor the city of Snyder.

“I have done nothing illegal, and it is my First Amendment right of the Constitution. You do not have to like or agree with what I do for me to be protected by the First Amendment right.”

In contrast, District Attorney John Wampler has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to look into the matter. “In my opinion, the photos that I was shown are obscene based on local community standards,” he said. What’s truly obscene is how closed minded people like Wampler can waste taxpayer’s money by starting a witch hunt like this.
